The Magic Word

I have so much I want to blog about, but I'm just going to write this for now...

Ryan (talking about the last piece of bread, that he wanted but had to eat some of his pasta first): Is it still hot?
Me: No
Ryan: Heat it up.
Me: Ask nicely.
Ryan: Mommy, will you heat it up?
Me: What's the magic word?
Ryan: Abracadabra?
Me: No, "please!"
Ryan: Huh! Well, abracadabra IS a magic word.
